Who are we?

Sizzle & Syrup began as side gig at the local Farmer’s Market. We saw a need for high-quality, affordable breakfast food and realized we could turn this passion into something sustainable in Sioux City. In just a short time, we shifted our focus from extra cash to building a business model the focuses on serving our community.

Sizzle & Syrup’s co-owners, Trevor Wheelock and Jose Santos Campos, have extensive experience and passion for the food service industry.

Jose Santos Campos is 1 of 11 siblings, and a single father of 4 boys. With over 10 years in the culinary industry, he’s passionate about creating memories through his food.

Trevor Wheelock is a bartender with over 10 years of experience, specializing in front-of-house and guest relations. He loves bringing his creativity of making drinks to the food industry.
